 The beach of Cala Violina is located in the heart of the Natural Reserve of Banish Scarlino, large forest complex between Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica. The beach of Cala Violina is just 4.8 km from the hotel and can be reached by walking through a pleasant path in nature, but also in mountain bike or horseback.
This heavenly beach is considered the most beautiful bay of Tuscany since 2004 and is annually awarded as one of the 11 Italian beaches more beautiful and unspoiled. It owes its name to the particular nature of the sand, white and fine, which, if trampled barefoot, emits the sweet sound of a violin. It’s also known for its transparent water allowing you to appreciate the seabed of rare beauty, formed by banks of Posidonia Oceanica, sandstone boulders and fish of every color and size.
From the beach you can enjoy spectacular views over the bay of Follonica and Punta Ala and during the clear summer days you can admire the islands of Elba, Montecristo, Cerboli and if you’re lucky, the mountains of Corsica.

Cala Martina is a beautiful beach located in the Gulf of Follonica, close to Cala Violina, only 3 Km far from the Hotel, north of the coast of Castiglione della Pescaia. This jewel of nature and the sea Cala is a small, intimate and evocative, characterized by fine golden sand, washed by clean waters and surrounded by fragrant and thick Mediterranean. Less known than the famous Cala Violina, it is equally beautiful and evocative.
Along the path leading to the falls, there is a monument in honor of Garibaldi, who stopped here to stock up on ammunition before landing in Sicily.

Monte Argentario was probably originally an island after “anchored” to the Tyrrhenian coast by the Feniglia and Giannella, formed by the accumulation of debris transported by rivers and the sea currents. Promontory, entirely mountainous (635 m) is characterized by high and rocky coasts, where you can admire the famous dwarf palm which grows spontaneously on site, it is covered by dense Mediterranean vegetation, alternating with olive groves, vines and of fruit trees. In the vineyards, terraces excavated the flanks of the mountain, are grown rare varieties Ansonico and Rimini.
